Lessons for Would Be Entrepreneurs

Read a well crafted article titled "9 Ways to Make Gobs of Money - Seriously" via Entrepreneur.com Contributor Steve Tobak. While scanning I noted following points, hope helpful for everyone want to make a difference to self and society.

  1. Competition and adversity breed great leaders.
  2. Steve Jobs said, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle."
  3. Technology startups are the land of equity and opportunity.
  4. The high-tech industry has created enormous wealth for millions of people, and not just top executives, either. Microsoft alone accounts for an estimated 12,000 millionaires among former or current employees.
  5. Own your own business and live like a monk.
  6. Take risks, make mistakes and trust your gut.
  7. Nobody ever got ahead by playing it safe.
  8. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is a serious workaholic who works 90 hours a week. So does Elon Musk
  9. You get out of life what you put in.
  10. Manufacture your own luck.
  11. quit tweeting and linking and get out and network with real people in the real world.
  12. Stay married.
  13. Nobody ever got anywhere by doing what everyone else is doing.
Wanna make a difference, start a business.

I think you should not hire me to do work, you should not pay me for my efforts, you should not make me part of your project, business or team. Why, here are my reasons 1. I am not yes boss person, I am straight forward, you like it or not who cares. 2. I am lazy. I don't like to carry my cell phone everywhere, it makes my weight some extra. 3. I am time waster.
