Savision Listed In Latest Gartner Report – Hype Cycle of IT Operations Management 2014, as a Sample ITOA software vendor

Amsterdam – August 11th, 2014 – Savision was listed as a sample vendor in a recent edition of the Gartner Report, the company announced yesterday.

“We are very proud to have been listed as one of the sample vendors for the IT Operations Analytics industry in the newly released edition of the Gartner Report,” Diana Krieger, CEO of Savision, said. “We believe this demonstrates our leadership position and level of acceptance in this important and competitive market.”

The July 22, 2014 Gartner Report describes the benefit rating of IT Operations Analytics to be “high.”

“We believe this is not only a big step for Savision, but for the industry as a whole,” she said. “It shows that the type of services being offered by IT Operations Analytics companies are crucial for many businesses in the IT industry.”

“Today’s IT environments are becoming too complex to manage without ITOA tools,” Krieger said. “It simply isn't possible for people provide minute-by-minute oversight of today's systems without assistance. The amount of data being created continues to expand, making it increasingly difficult to catch the important nuggets of performance data. ITOA tools automatically process huge volumes of data to provide insights for today’s IT professionals. This facilitates making decisions quickly in a dynamic environment thereby enabling more effective planning and better use of virtualization and cloud technology as well as the new applications being architected.”

One of the key solutions offered in the ITOA marketplace by Savision is a product called Live Maps. It provides organisations with a visual, business service view of their IT infrastructure, combined with proactive performance management to resolve IT problems in the shortest amount of time possible.

“In today’s global environment, IT organizations need to deliver business value and therefore need to think in terms of end-to-end service management – minimizing downtime and optimizing performance at the business level. This is exactly what Live Maps enables in an easy and intuitive way: Business Service Management” Krieger said.

Gartner Reports are time-sensitive IT research findings focused on key issues in technology.

Savision was also recently listed as one of the Top 50 IT Operations Analytics companies by ITOA Landscape.

“Between our top50 listing by ITOA Landscape and our inclusion as a sample company by Gartner, we believe that Savision is gaining momentum as a leader in the ITOA industry,” she said. “We feel our history of excellence is being recognized by the top professionals in our field. We hope this leads businesses to our door.”
