How to use nofollow link inside blogger blog post

Blogger is great for sharing information; its also make sense to try and test your niche specially if you wana be an entrepreneur and making money while blogging. Money is a means to survive and hence its must to earn from whatever you do. Earning money by blogging is not for those who does not have expertise in a certain area and who can not write ideas into words, in fact better words, nobody takes interest in reading garbage.

Coming to the point, this post is about when to use nofollow in blogger and how?

First lets understand what a nofollow does?

The opposite of no follow is dofollow...

If you are blogger or internet entrepreneur, you must be aware that search robots from different search engines visits your website or blog at regular intervals for page indexing. When a search engine robot visits a web url it values to many things, one of the important aspect is links on your page, precisely say, meaningful links. When you put too many links on a web page, search engine demean it or say did not value it or ranks it lower, which hearts your search engine ranking.

Being a blogger you may have compulsions and limitations to put too many links on a web page, specially when you are providing some list etc. For example SEO Companies in your area, certainly your site visitor must be interested in knowing details of SEO companies including address, phone, email and website etc.
So here its a requirement to put website url of different SEO companies in a page if you are writing around SEO Companies and preparing a list.

Your audience wants ease of use, for the purpose you must require to hyperlink the web url of SEO companies so that your reader may jump to the source website without copying the link and putting in new browser. And when you did this for 100s of SEO companies the engine robot will understand your page as a clutter.

To make the search engine robot equally happy what you need to do inside blogger is -
  • write url for example www.dkoffice.in
  • Now select the url character and click on Link above utilities. Now web url will become a hyperlink and a pop box will appear stating Go to link - change - remove
  • Click On Change, a bigger pop box will appear, with heading Edit Link
  • Inside box, check on Open This Link in New Window and Add rel = nofollow Attribute (Learn More)
  • Now when a site visitor will click on a hyperlink from your web page, the new page will open in a new browser there by not leaving your website while visiting a new page and when a search engine robot will visit your webpage, it will not read the hyperlinks as unhealthy links.
This information is also useful when deploying a wordpress or joomla cms blog or using any other cms/web script to deploy web pages.
