Excellence vs Perfection

There is huge confusion between excellence and perfection. Both are rewarding but...
Perfection has limitations, you can not make anything perfect above 100 marks. This is where either you beat the competition or get beaten. Normally both happens. Excellence is about achieving 100%. You can achieve 100 marks in a given task at that point you may argue that here I achieved full percentage. But analogy says, you have achieved it about the task and not around the task. When you strive to achieve around the task there is no upper limit. For example an student may get 100 out of 100 marks in a given examination does that mean he / she 100 perfect in all those topics around what questions were asked or as that employ that there is no one out there in the world who knows better than the student who have faced an examination. This is why governments take Essay test before selecting you for a given post.
In companies awards are given to best employees do you know why? So other employees try better than what previous employee already have done. And other do that in the next year. Why because there is still space left to make things much better. Awards for best performers, top achievers, best products, best services are given to encourage coming generations to do better. Better is the word that always stays ahead of best.
Excellence is to hunt for more. You strive for excellence when you have hunger for more, when you are not satisfied, when you are not settled. Perfection often comes within boundaries of known knowledge but excellence is when you strive for the unknown.
This is how discoveries happens. Discoverers are never settled. They always want more beyond the unknown.
Whether you are business person, students or anyone if you are settled what you have accept the bitter pill there is someone out there in the world who have achieved all what you have but still not settle. There is someone who is striving for the more. Strive for excellence, make smaller what you already have and achieve more. Possibilities are limitless and open to all.

How to get quality traffic on a single page website that converts

Single page website? Not a bad idea. May be you want to sell your products online. You can not write too much as you are too busy in creating and modifying your product. And you need to travel a lot for promotions. Outsourcing could be one of the answer but if your budget is tight then hiring a freelancer may drain your money. And writing regular blog post would be tough. In such a situation one page website can serve the purpose. It will be easy to update especially if its cms based may be like wordpress for example. Its one page website with simple product picture, detailed description, ways to order and customer review. You are not tech savvy and don't want to invest too much on website's geeky things. I said quality traffic that converts and make your bank account numbers increase. After all you mean sales. Its a good idea that you want to focus on you...

Say yes for the sake of formality but when

Being informal is not a bad idea. Being hundred percent informal may break your business into pieces. Building a business requires to gather hundreds of bits and pieces. It takes sweat and build and unknowingly you break it when you are hundred percent informal. Being too much informal is sound rigid even if you don't mean then too a client, a customer, a support staff may consider you dominating or arrogant. Building a business requires partnerships not one but many. The legendary cricketer Sir SR Tendulkar has mentioned in many interviews, 'cricket is about partnerships and its not only cricket, life is about partnerships.'  Being realistic is fine but being too realistic can break that partnership that you have built over years. Relationship building is a task. And just for one small reason which may even be not reason you can break a beautiful partnership with a potential prospect. People in and around me are often happy in my company. Together we enjoy pretty good tim...
