One person at a time

Phone ettiquete

Calls are important. You need to make and reply.
When call must ask first if the receiver is in right situation to respond.
When taking a call do not hold caller for the other person.
When you are in a meeting with anyone do not take calls.
When you hold a person for the sake of answering next it gives impression that man who was already engaged with you is less important.
Systematic approach is important. Basic etiquette are important to make your business successful.
I never met any successful person not having phone manners.
On the other hand those less serious are complaint box, no manners, no systems, no etiquette.
The way a person handle his phone from that I guess seriousness of doing business.
On a given day a man was sitting with me we initiated a serious discussion, he took call in between and next I told him to decide first if the work in discussion is right for him.
A given day I made a call to my office colleague, project was very important and in between, when we were on peak of it she told me, perhaps, one incoming call is there I will call you later. One year passed she never returned the call on that matter. Its irresponsible behavior.
Bad etiquette may break your business. It shows you are not serious.
If you are an starter or thinking to start a business learn basics and first make rules for yourself.
When you do not have set rules you are bound to create mess.
One good friend of mine made life successful. From rag to rich she bought a car. I appreciate her courage and leadership. A day when I called she was driving. I asked to finish driving first. But reply was unfortunate, she told me, why to follow all rules of road. Of course, I didn't took pain of extending suggestion.
A person who think driving and talking together is fine is bound to cause catastrophe and she did that within 3 months of buying a new car.
If she may have made rules or followed them perhaps she may have gone bigger and by now may be have found place in business columns.
One task at a time, one person at a time...
When you learn to give 100% in daily life you make it a habit to give 100% to business too.
I never visit those restaurants again where table service ask anything else at the first instance. If I have ordered a dish serve me first once finished then you can ask.
When I am alone why are you trying to sell multiple orders in one go. That means you only mean sale not customer satisfaction.
Human is bound cause mistake; at times we are not able to give 100%, but we can always push us for betterment.

OneUp Today: Using AI to Make Reddit Outreach More Targeted, Personal, and Measurable

For indie hackers and solopreneurs, finding early customers is often harder than building the product itself. Reddit can be a strong channel because it is full of niche communities where people openly discuss problems and ask for recommendations. The catch is scale. Manually scanning threads, writing thoughtful replies, following up in DMs, and tracking outcomes quickly turns into hours of daily work, and it is difficult to measure what is actually working. OneUp Today is a marketing automation platform built to reduce that manual workload while keeping the outreach human. It helps founders discover relevant conversations on Reddit, draft personalized responses and DMs in the founder’s own voice, and track what happens after someone clicks a link or replies. Why Reddit Works, and Why It’s Hard Unlike many ad platforms, Reddit is conversation-first. People show intent by describing their pain points in detail. That makes it valuable for early-stage products, es...
