How To Change Post Url In Blogger

Blogger is great Blogging Platform powered by Google. I love this unique place to share my thoughts, opinions and reviews. No SEO geek on earth will suggest you to change a blog post url, this will hamper your SEO ranking both overall Blog Rank and rank related to the particular post of which you are supposed to change URL.

Changing a Post URL is same like replacing real limbs with artificial one but at times inevitable happens and medical surgeons do not find any good option other than doing a replacement surgery. I am not a medico, but in my writing career of over 15 years, couple times I stuck in a situation when I really felt to change a blog post url and I did that.

CHANGE BLOG POST WHEN IT’S ULTIMATELY NECESSARY AND IT WILL TURNOUT MORE PERMANENT

If you have published a post in a Blogger blog and did some error in the URL field, change it now. An error is an error. You cannot leave it unattended. Here is how?

  • Go to Blogger dashboard
  • Navigate to More option
  • From dropdown select Posts
  • Find the post of which you wish to change the URL
  • Check the Radio button adjacent to post
  • Click on Revert To Draft

Now your blog post will turn into draft and disappear from the list of published posts.

Next click Edit below draft post heading. This step will take you to blog post window.

  • Click on Permalink
  • Check Radio Button along Custom Permalink if same is not checked already.
  • Put the desired words you wish to see as link.
  • Next click Done.
  • Click Publish Button

Now your blog post is available with Brand New URL for your audience.

Perhaps this step will affect your ranking for couple days only but in longer run you won’t regret this decision.

Remember, a good URL is more permanent than a faulty one.

Today we can draw planet mars on paper much explicitly. How old you were when writing your first web page stared? Perhaps, you want to say, that’s none of my business or you were older than I can think. Well, do you eat same food, wear same cloth or sleep on same bed where you were sleeping couple years back? I am sure, now your answer is a firm NO. Then why your website is still lying in those fixed frames? No matter how big your brand is, taking little care of your website every now and then will surely boost your business. What’s the time better than the festive season to look for a website design overhaul? Your website needs a change for following reasons:

Importance of HTML, CSS and Javascript in Website Content Writing

<html> <body> <h1>My First Heading</h1> <p>My first paragraph.</p> </body> </html> Is this something strange to you, and you are someone whose job is producing website content, publishing blogs and writing press releases? If your answer to the above question is an ‘yes’ you must need to learn dirty looking codes, and once you learn them, you will enjoy working on them.
