Blogger Custom Domain For Hostgator

Blogging is fun; a tried and tested method to reach to your audience and earn money. This article is about how customize blogger domain say http://www.abc.blogspot.com to http://www.xyz.com, given your domain is register with www.hostgator.com

Go through the following steps and customize your blogger blog now.


  • Log on to www.hostgator.com
  • Under Our Services tab find Domain Names; this is a link, click on it.
  • A new page will open.
  • At the top right look for Manage Your Domain heading.
  • Below it Enter your domain name which you wish to host on blogger.
  • Enter your Password
  • Wait a moment, depending upon your connection speed in few seconds your Hostgator Control Panel will appear.
  • Look for Web Host in admin panel. Click Edit
  • Below Web Host you will find boxes filled with '*', '@', 'www', and an empty box below 'www'
  • Also you will see corresponding empty boxes which are meant to set 'A' record.
  • In the empty box below 'www' fill ghs.google.com
  • In the corresponding empty boxes fill following IP Addresses
  • 216.239.32.21
  • 216.239.34.21
  • 216.239.36.21
  • 216.239.38.21
  • Click Save and you are done.


Now go to blogger control panel, find the blog for which you want to set custom domain.

  • Go to setting 
  • Under basic settings click on Add A Custom domain.
  • Now click on Switch to advanced settings.
  • In the empty box fill your domain, click save and you are done.

Now enjoy unlimited blogging for free on google blogger and refer your website to people with new style.
