Whether linking Andhar card good or bad

The Indian courts, government officials, and public is busy in talks and discussions,  whether Aadhar card / UID should be linked or not?  News and fake news doing rounds,  media companies getting some good news to publish on Day to day basis.  But nobody is asking government to make Aadhar more powerful.

  • Why Aadhar is not delivered in the format as a BANK'S ATM card?
  • Why a person with Aadhar card need to furnish other documents even for buying small things like a Sim card?
  • Why Aadhar card has no pin or secret code?
  • Why Aadhar card is not fully secure.
  • Why Aadhar card is not an universal document?
  • Why Aadhar card is not a mandatory document to carry for government officials when they visit our houses?
I think these are some basic questions for which we need an answer,  if our government suppose that Aadhar card is a valid proof of identity.

Personally I think UID should be given more power.

Now coming to main point whether linking Aadhar card is good or Bad?

Let's talk bad first....
  • Linking Aadhar card to other accounts is bad if government database of people is not fully secure.
  • Linking Aadhar card is bad if people in the government are irresponsible and don't value their duty.
  • Linking Aadhar card is bad if you the person in question are a bad fellow and and involved or intended to do any activity not good in other People's interests.
And now let's see good points of linking Aadhar card

  • Linking Aadhar card is good as it proves your identity.
  • Linking Aadhar card is good as it has your biometric,  it's a proof that this is YOU.
  • Linking Aadhar card is good as government should know true value of its human capital.  In a way planning for people will be super easy for government.
  • Linking Aadhar card is good but government need to make sure that UID database is highly safe and secure.
  • In case of a misuse of UID government can make sure that strict action should be taken against the wrongdoer without second thought and interests of a victim should be in highest priority.
In my personal opinion Aadhar card should be universal document for doing everything. It should have more power but highly secure perhaps with a user pin.
