How to link blog post title to a specified URL in Blogger

In a Blogger Blog, Post Title is Default URL. You can change this default setting by customizing the default URL. Now suppose you want to link your blog post title to a specific url / permalink, how to do that in Blogger CMS? For example you are writing a review around Microwave Oven but wish to link your post title to a CNET Review Page.


To a beginner, it may sound bit difficult or completely weird, but doing so in Google Blogspot CMS is a piece of cake. Follow the steps mentioned below.


  • Write Blog Post Text.
  • In the Post Setting click over Link
  • A list of Customization Utilities will pop out
  • Locate Text Title Link, below you can see an small blank field.
  • In the field put the page url to which you wish to link blog url. For example http://cnet.com
  • Click Done


Draft your blog post, fill other fields as necessary and Publish.

Now your Post Title is linked to an external page.
