Your customers are mobile friendly: Bulky Desktop era has long gone. There came a time when Laptops took over Desktop computers. But now more people consume information and do social media on mobile. The mobile devices like a mobile phone, tablet or ultrabook give people an easy way out for multitasking. There is a common human tendency to stay connected with work whether really working or just enjoying being around it. Mobile devices not only makes task easier but also help in keeping you connected with friends and family all the time. Android has given an extra edge to mobile customers. Merely for the expense of internet data one can use whole lot of social media from anywhere. All this gave rise to people turning towards mobile devices. This is digital era. Everyone uses a computer for doing tasks, chatting with friends, connecting with family and doing shopping. E-Commerce gave people advantage of shopping online anytime, anywhere. Reasons enough people like to carry a small and smart gadget to fulfill their daily needs. Social Media is no different. It never sleeps. Mobile devices helps in keeping connected to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc all the time. Many carriers offer special data rate for social media uses which is way too low when compared to normal call rate charges. People love to update every next moment on social media. This is why Instagram has grown manifold since its launch. Sharing Selfies, food, nature, travel and work is very common on Social Media. A multi screen friendly website will gave ease of browsing to your customers on every screen size; viz, Tab, Mobile, Netbook, Ultrabook, Laptop and Desktop. Make your website mobile friendly else your customers will turn away, they fill someone like you who is on mobile.

Google may down rank your website: Google uses Adwords / Adsense for display advertising. If you are using Adsense on your website, it must need to be mobile friendly.  On the other hand if you are planning to use Adwords for your business then too it must require rendering properly on all screen sizes. According to many different market researches, more people browse Internet on a mobile device than on a Laptop or Desktop computer. Imagine someone clicking on your Adwords Ad Banner on a mobile device and then coming through a window which is extremely difficult to browse? There is no reason why one such prospect won’t look to other business. Same true with Adsense; if your website is not multi screen friendly; nobody will be able to see ads on it. Why Google will Up Rank your website on top of the search results? No reasons.

No webmaster will like to link with your website: Again Google being top search engine play a key role here. It will rank down any such website linking with you. The way website owners were exchanging links in the start of Internet era has changed completely. Earlier it was madness of linking. Everyone was competing to link everywhere. But today links are purely meant for user experience and serve your customers better. This is the era of Smart Linking.

To be true Google never said in its history to link like mad and serve link to any and many websites without reasons. However, the Google Algorithm favored websites linked with many. People misused the Luxury of Linking which further created a community of non believers on Internet. Google understood this and now they are putting several SEO practices in place to develop healthy Internet. This I observed over a 15 year of working with different companies.

Nobody will like you on Social Media: Your About Page is most browsed in all your social media accounts. If your website is not mobile friendly nobody will like to share your social media with his / her friends, fans and followers.  Also you won’t be able to get customers from any Social Media. Normally what happen is when people come across your social media, they will press like / follow and share. Next either they reach through a Call To Action tab or about page asking for a service. Remember, people often do Social Media on Mobile. If your website is not rendering properly on a mobile device they won’t struggle to reach to you but will go to someone else.

Experiences give Learnings and these comes of Pain

May be right, may be wrong. But not absolute rubbish. Going for the first time despite knowing perhaps I won't be able to achieve milestones as the support system is scary weak. Somewhere back and deep in the mind the thought was what I will do, then, where I will end up life. Will I succeed, if not then what will I do? Whether I will be able to make both ends meet. How will I face people at home, society, relatives and others? The struggles were endless. If I go back in memory lane I observe I met many people, I made many good friends, I got support from many teachers, I got support from many people supposedly rich in society. I met many employers. But suddenly I realized through every step in life that no one was mine. No one was my support system, that was an illusion only. As soon as people realized this guy is looking to achieve a milestone, suddenly I realized there were no friends, no well wishers, no supporters, no sympathizer. I found myself stranded in the deep seas o...

Hostgator India and Bigrock are not two different now

Mergers and acquisitions are common in business world. To do business you need to join hands. Long back Hostgator was not in India, then it spread its wings and come to this geography. Hostgator is a trusted partner you can count on to buy a service or subscription. Its customer support was awesome, just raise one ticket and you are done. That was my experience with Hostgator in past. Bigrock was a separate entity, I seen big rock adverts often but I was a Hostgator customer. It offers affiliate programmes too. But instead of chosing affiliate I recommended my customers always to chose Hostgator. Many people was like its costly and my simple reply was its Hostgator.  Now Hostgator India and Bigrock  are not two but one. Who joined hands with whom and why I won't go and dig those details for now. But, now BigRock has bigger responsibilities in its hands. So, people like me, may be those are a fistful only can say, its Bigrock, it was Hostgator. Not...
