Facebook is a place on internet to meet like minded people across the border. Stay connected is the mantra. It’s marketers den; every marketer turns up to Facebook meeting customers and sharing success stories. I have pages on facebook like https://www.facebook.com/pages/CareerAlerts/251101871630274 (For Students, Job Seekers, Parents and Teachers); and www.fb.com/dkoffice.in (for Website Owners, Webmasters and Business Managers), and you can follow all my posts via www.facebook.com/authorsmart

What irritates me most about Facebook is the number of requests I get to like facebookpages, most of them irrelevant, in no way makes sense to me, my students or my content writing, copy writing and seo business. Anyone on facebook gets such request. You can not blame the request senders, it’s their job to meet people and convince them to buy their services, products or simply to get like and increase facebook page worth.

The main problem is when we like facebook pages, feeds posted on our timeline and due to flood of posts we miss on important things that really matters to us. However, there are feeds from pages we don’t want to miss at any cost, for example news feed from CNN, Exam Dates, Job Alerts or Computing tips form Leo Notenboom. We can say such pages are highly likable.

This post is about, how to keep highly likable Facebook pages in your FB bookmark?

Take those pages to your Facebook Interests.

How to do content referencing correctly

There is a common belief- when you give reference link below your article or put down source link it helps in ranking your article, may be whole blog and you will get enormous traffic. May be you will get results using these technics, perhaps you may pass the litmus test of ranking on search engine this way for sometime, may be days or months. But question is do you really know the source. There is a rat race in the name of Off-Page SEO, ranking on first page or top of Google Search. However, I see this tactic in a completely different way.  In my opinion and experience if you really don't know the source it won't be sustainable for long. Readers who scroll down till end of the page are real readers. Majority of those are true readers who know well about those sources and if they find a reference link source that is unknown they are intended to click over it and look or read. Here at this point you will be exposed. Your page will be exposed. A reader who trusted on your webpage...

Team Viewer App Review

Remote working is on the rise.  I worked for clients from Ireland,  Canada,  UK,  UAE etc.  Often my customers were generous enough and intelligent enough and provided me passwords to work. I need password when working on seo or posting on social media. For years I never required a remote desktop sharing app like TeamViewer. Couple days back I met a prospective client online from Baroda, India,  who was required my services for his eBay shop.  Customer asked me if I have TeamViewer. Because I was not having this luxury at the moment I took a 5 minute leave to download and install which was TeamViewer 13, the very latest version.  I installed the app on my phone and client given me remote access. The TeamViewer 13 for Android everyone should have to access remote computers. It has awesome neat and clean user interface.  On a scale of 10 I will give TeamViewer 13 Android app 7 points. What your thoughts do let me know in the comments below. ...

Experiences give Learnings and these comes of Pain

May be right, may be wrong. But not absolute rubbish. Going for the first time despite knowing perhaps I won't be able to achieve milestones as the support system is scary weak. Somewhere back and deep in the mind the thought was what I will do, then, where I will end up life. Will I succeed, if not then what will I do? Whether I will be able to make both ends meet. How will I face people at home, society, relatives and others? The struggles were endless. If I go back in memory lane I observe I met many people, I made many good friends, I got support from many teachers, I got support from many people supposedly rich in society. I met many employers. But suddenly I realized through every step in life that no one was mine. No one was my support system, that was an illusion only. As soon as people realized this guy is looking to achieve a milestone, suddenly I realized there were no friends, no well wishers, no supporters, no sympathizer. I found myself stranded in the deep seas o...
