Consistency

That one word discussed less often. People talk about Goals, give examples, create noises and vanish. But interestingly nobody talks about play field. Goals when set are not achieved. This happen more than often because then our concentration goes to goal post and bypass everything in between. Let me tell you an incident. Focus on Goal or Setting a Goal is a perfect idea but to make that idea work you have to master the play field.
I started a blog, thought let's see if I will get visitor, few visitor happen.
I started running Google AdSense, thought let's see if I can get advertisement. It started happening.
I thought let's do more post and see how everything changes. Visitor started increasing.
I thought because I work alone, lets see what will happen if I do quality post. Blog start booming.
I started making Good money, sufficient to live in any Indian City. And here started my bad days.
For few days I was out of work. At this point out of nothing no solid reasons because I was away and blog earnings were less
I thought how to make more money, I shifted my focus from audience to money. My blog earnings decreased to zero from AdSense.
I focused on goal instead of play field, result, blog is broke.
I am sure if I have taken it up from the point where it was left, it may have gained momentum again. But I did mistake. However, let me tell you, this was also my testing part, I was willing to know how it will work. There is huge noise in the world about making money I took risk and found goal is not important than play field. When you are in the field goals will happen. Master the play field.
Consistency is not about never stay out of the play field. At times it happens and we loss hope and become victims of our own frustrations.
If you discontinue a task for some reason but this is your task which is left undone start again from the point at which you have left before. Consistency is to focus on play field, not on goals. If you are in the field goals will happen.
Let me share with you one more story.
I was good learner, if you say super I will love it. Since childhood I was told my uncle was a Gold medalist twice in academics. It become a goal for me to get Gold medal, I never got one because my focus was medal not the field. Today I know this. And I am pretty sure.  Play field was study but my orientation changes slowly slowly as I grown up, like any other teen I was also too excited and that excitement killed everything.
Heck, nobody told how uncle did at home and playground.
That is a top secret I am not going to tell you anyway.
Because I lost, I lost gold medal, I won't like if another child also loose it.
In business and business of life often we become victim of information overload.
Let not that happen to you.
Forget this article.

Clean environment will make you feel nice and relaxed. You will be better focused. #2. Set your work schedule: Observe anything in nature it has a schedule and pace. Nature works in a constant manner. Sun rises everyday, not go for a holiday. Earth not go slow on its rotatory motion. River water makes it own path. Man is a part of nature. Be consistent. My High School English teacher was a Gold Medalist. He never studied more than 2 hours a day. #3. Eat when Hungry: Calories from right sources in right amount. No you do not need a weighing scale to do this. Human body always tells what is good, what is bad. Elephant never eats grass. It counts on tree trunks and nobody teach an elephant what is a balanced diet. Listen to your body. #4. Read: Not necessary to understand Classical Mechanics if you can that's good. If its not your choice rea...
