Why everyone should buy gold before smartphone

A smartphone is good to have,  I am writing this article on phone because I have this luxury.  But I am hungry because I don’t have money today.  My bank card is not working. Couple of times I gone to gold shops,  asked rate and then thought if prices go down,  I will loss. I decided to watch market trends before I truly buy.  Of course that never happened. I live alone,  no family behind,  if I may have few gold coins at least it may have some value today. 
You do not repeat the same mistake that I did for years.  Buy it in small quantity,  invest periodically.  Keep some gold in your wallet before chosing that smartphone.

Things happened like this

A night before I was having less than 100 that spend on food.
Today in the afternoon I felt hungry, think of to go bank ATM,  get some money and buy a cup of tea.
Heck machine said,  unable to dispense cash,  please contact your branch.
I thought this machine is faulty,  one by one,  I checked 5 atms, but same response.
Now this was 4.30 pm means banking time is over and branch is 10km away,  and I don’t have money to buy bus ticket.
I checked with a shopkeeper and requested him to swipe my card,  after little fuss he did,  but it not worked.
You think negative in odd times,  a friend of mine knows my personal details.  I thought if someone did a prank somehow,  I called up to ask,  reply was obvious, why you think so I did this and how I can do this. I have my own reasons to ask.
I invested in this phone,  if I may have invested even 1/3rd of the cost of phone in gold,  I may have something today to pledge or to sell.
The question is not only about hunger,  thousands of questions are popping in mind,  what if I need to go my home branch,  what if problems continues to couple days,  what if I decide to do some other work and earn some,  where to go,  what to do,  loads of confusions in mind. A problem which is very small looks like a mountain.
Financial security is important,  nothing is one hundred percent secure,  but something is better than nothing. I have seen people of all class,  but one thing is common among all,  everyone want smartphone,  rich can afford it, less rich can strive for it and buying one is a good thing but when matters comes to chose between gold and smartphone what you should chose first...
Gold is value both in good times and bad times.
I am regretting my decision today,  so you do not repeat same mistake,  this article is here.
If you like reading this share so others also may learn and be invest in some gold before buying a costly phone.
There are many ways to invest in gold, you don’t need to buy in kilos,  simply visit a genuine shop in your area and buy something perhaps that you can wear.  If don’t want to wear keep in selves or buy gold coins.  Gold is a wealth even if it’s value goes down,  smartphone is not.
