5 Tips To Communicate To Your Customers Better

The Customer is the King; this old saying goes well when communication comes into question. The businesses listed on Wall Street are not necessarily selling the products better than you but they are masters in making customers to listen. The customer care executives who get 10 out of 10 star ratings are not always from Oxford or Cambridge but over the time they mastered in making customers to listen. Your voice, the way you speak and connect the dots is the Knight of your business.

Here are 5 Tips To Communicate To Your Customers Better

1. Eliminate the less important from your conversation: Time matters, customer want solution and resolution but not stories. Perhaps a product you intended to sell can make millions for you, it’s your brainchild but how this going to change a customers life. Your brainchild is simply a commodity to clients. Explain the benefits; KISS (Keep It Short and Simple). Make him / her eager to listen more.

2. Everyone do not know Cloud Engine: Ruby On Rail is your best mate. You love playing with it. How can you expect from a commerce geek that he / she should know Load balancing or a term like responsive. Put your points forward in simplest forms. Tell them benefits of a website made for every screen sizes instead of just saying responsive.

3. Do Not Sound Boring: Talk like human. The marketplace is full of people selling services and commodities. Only some register success and those are the people who make a connection with customers. Be genuine. I remember a guy from my ISP Customer Service, he makes a connection. No matter how much irritated you are he always begins conversation with a “please”. There are perhaps many thousand folks taking customers complaints, all do same job but I am happy with only one. He puts his 100% and one is bound to say him “Thank You”.

4. Talk In Sequence: Use real life context instead of talking aliens given you are not a Space One employee. To them space is life. Explain your product, its benefits, pricing and why free subscription in an orderly manner. While looking for Plagiarism Check software a friend of mine ended up paying high to certain software company. When I asked him a why, he told, all are doing similar business but this one explained me better as 1,2,3. That is the power of sequence. You can not jump to a second step without putting feet on the first.

5. Listen: Your customer want your ears; listen uncomplainingly. Do not interrupt till it’s not extremely necessary. When talking to a customer take note of important points. Connect the dots and offer solution. Avoid negativism at all cost. One negative word and you may loss a valuable client.
