How to transfer ownership of a Facebook Page?

Mergers and Acquisitions makes business world dynamic. The largest example to this I have seen when Marissa Mayer joined Yahoo Inc. The girl is really rocking with her excellent business strategies.

Today most of the businesses have Facebook Page for company / organization. When someone acquires a business, owner also wants to get control on Facebook Page so as to take old customers along. Here is how to transfer Facebook Page ownership.

  • Add the new owner as your Facebook Friend or ask to like the company page.
  • Go to company page >> Click Settings on the top.
  • Along the left hand rail click on Page Role.
  • If new owner is your friend type name in the empty box, below set role as Admin. Click Save. Enter your password. Now new owner has same permission to play with Facebook company page as you.
  • Again Go to Page >> Settings >> Page Role. You can see the new owner as well as your name. Against your name click X. Now you don’t have permission to manage the same page. It will go away from your profile completely. New owner can also do the same once you assigned the Admin role.

Now Facebook Company page fully belongs to new owner of the business.

Before you do, write a Facebook post, so your followers, customers and friends know, hands are changing. This is essential step to ensure the safety of your loyal customers because of whom you made profit selling this business.

How to get quality traffic on a single page website that converts

Single page website? Not a bad idea. May be you want to sell your products online. You can not write too much as you are too busy in creating and modifying your product. And you need to travel a lot for promotions. Outsourcing could be one of the answer but if your budget is tight then hiring a freelancer may drain your money. And writing regular blog post would be tough. In such a situation one page website can serve the purpose. It will be easy to update especially if its cms based may be like wordpress for example. Its one page website with simple product picture, detailed description, ways to order and customer review. You are not tech savvy and don't want to invest too much on website's geeky things. One page is enough for you. Its doable, but without traffic how will you generate online sales. That is the question right? I said quality traffic that converts and make your bank account numbers increase. After all you mean sales. Its a good idea that you want to focus on you...

Hack Gaps

Just I was writing an email to my collogue and the term Hack Gaps suddenly I keyed. So let's Hack Gaps to build that unique brand. My terms are stolen more often so I thought to key down it here to flaunt and say see I am the creator of Hack Gaps. I don't know if anyone before today has said or written or thought that term before I wrote that email.  Whether someone before has thought or not, not my business. But my business is to make optimal use of the term I said, and thought it's nascent for me. However, you have to wait for sometime or may be days before I come up with something may be like how to use hack gaps to build your brand.

Say yes for the sake of formality but when

Being informal is not a bad idea. Being hundred percent informal may break your business into pieces. Building a business requires to gather hundreds of bits and pieces. It takes sweat and build and unknowingly you break it when you are hundred percent informal. Being too much informal is sound rigid even if you don't mean then too a client, a customer, a support staff may consider you dominating or arrogant. Building a business requires partnerships not one but many. The legendary cricketer Sir SR Tendulkar has mentioned in many interviews, 'cricket is about partnerships and its not only cricket, life is about partnerships.'  Being realistic is fine but being too realistic can break that partnership that you have built over years. Relationship building is a task. And just for one small reason which may even be not reason you can break a beautiful partnership with a potential prospect. People in and around me are often happy in my company. Together we enjoy pretty good tim...
